We had an excellent experience with Hamco. Our 41 year old boiler up and died on us just about 2 weeks ago and Nolan and Christian were able to diagnose the issue. Based on their feedback, we decided to switch over to a heat pump with mini splits and they put us in touch with the sales dept. Andrew immediately gave us a call and helped us decide on the right mini split system. The main installers, Veronika and Reese were great and very efficient. They went above and beyond making the installation process painless. Overall, I'm impressed with the service from start to finish and the professionalism of Hamco.

Our house was doing basement renovation, there’s lots of work because of new room reorganizing. I first contacted Hamco due to a CO leak in the house that the gas company said was caused by the furnace. Upon investigation, Nolan determined it was the Water Heater and that I'd need to work with Reliance for that since I rented from them. He was very courteous and helpful in letting me know of the options available to me, and I was very happy dealing with him.After two separate Reliance techs did nothing and said it wasn't the heater, and 3 more instances of the CO alarm going off over a couple weeks, I contacted Hamco to look at buying a heater outright and having them install it. Laura was extremely helpful and kind, and I was able to get everything organized through her, including the Reliance cancellation.On installation day, the two installers were friendly, courteous, and put in effort to keep everything tidy as they went. They also took the old heater and returned it to Reliance on our behalf.It's been months now with zero problems or CO leaks. Of 4 different technicians that came to investigate the leak, only Nolan from Hamco got it right. I will happily use them again.

Very happy with Andrew at Hamco with oil furnace conversion to heat pump. Lots of options out there, but Hamco proved superior not only in terms of price, but assistance with design, selection, and installation. Andrew even helped guide us through the grants process, which was an important factor in our decision to convert to a heat pump. I had HAMCO install a heat pump water heater and perform furnace maintenance a week ago. In both cases, the employees were extremely professional, friendly, and courteous. They were on time, to the minute, and provided updates as well as easy to understand explanations of the work they were doing. There were no surprises. The sales rep was very friendly and never pressured me. Office staff were flexible when it came to scheduling the work. Great experience with both jobs.

Our boiler needed some more intense maintenance due to neglect and Nolan identified the problems, ordered all the necessary parts and returned as soon as they were in to complete the work. I had a problem with water slowly dripping from the air conditioner unit on to the basement floor. I called Andrew Vasilak, the Hamco comfort consultant I had dealt with when I purchased the unit and within 1 hour he had a technician at my door.The technician, Andrew Mikheil had recently serviced the unit so he was familiar with it and the location. He checked the unit and after eliminating a number of possible problems he decided that the drain from the A/C unit was blocked. He cleared the blockage then took the extra time to flush out all the drain lines to make sure that the blockage problem was solved. Andrew M then waited for the air conditioner and the condensate pump to complete a full drain cycle as a double check to make sure that everything was draining properly. During the process Andrew M. kept me informed as to what he was doing which I really appreciated.Hamco should be proud to have Andrew Vasilak as a comfort consultant selling the equipment and for Andrew Mikeil servicing them. They both gave 100% +.I would recommend Hamco for all your heating and air conditioning requirements in the future.

I have a very old and very small cottage in Hamilton that has never had air conditioning and needed it ASAP. Andrew from HAMCO came for my quote within 24 hours of calling; he was extremely kind and helpful and took the time to show me how to change my furnace filter as a first-time homeowner. He gave me a fair and honest quote and within days his team was at my home installing my air conditioner.The team at HAMCO was very polite, efficient, and thoughtful of my home. Long story short, we our new A/C unit was a lemon. The original installer wouldn’t do the work and most places won’t cover a manufacture’s warranty if they didn’t install it, but Hamco was willing to work with us. We did need to cover the labour costs (understandably), but not having to also pay for a new compressor was really nice. Both the office staff and the techs were professional, responsive and quick.

Got nothing but run around from other AC service people when my AC broke down during recent heat wave, lots of unnecessary restrictions for entering the house, when there was no need to enter at all. The serviceman was professional and courteous. He worked entirely outside with the AC unit, diagnosed the problem in 5-10 minutes and had it fixed, my capacitor, ( I always want to say 'flux capacitor') in just a few more minutes. Very reasonable rates for the service call and labour. Definitely will put them on speed dial for any further issues in the future.

While at our house to do the annual inspection of our air conditioning unit, Andrew also went up into our very shallow attic to inspect an issue with the bathroom fan exhaust tubing. Within 24 hours, he called with an estimate for the cost to replace the tubing, and he came back about a week later, on a very hot day, to replace it. It was by no means a comfortable environment in which to work. Despite the conditions, he worked efficiently in a genial manner. It was late on a Friday afternoon, but he patiently explained things to us and answered our questions. Andrew is a very capable and personable service person.

As far as the product goes (Daikin FIT), it has only been 2 weeks since the system was installed, so I cannot give a credible review for the product itself yet, maybe for another day.I would like to call out the way my Daikin Fit was installed. Initially I was impressed since they initially said it is a 2-day job, but the install team (Greg/Christian/and a lady) managed to finish the job in a day. But then I realized how poor the wiring was done for my HVAC system. They just tied everything and tucked everything to the side of the furnace/duct. It looks electrically unsafe even. My old HVAC was done way more better. I am aware that the new HVAC systems have more electronics, but I've also seen other new Daikin installations and the wiring is not as bad as what has been done on mine. Also, there's supposed to be a holder for all the service manuals that they usually stick to the side of the airduct, but when I asked for it, they said the forgot to bring one and will just come back to install one. So they just put all the manuals on top of the media filter. But they never came back.I already reached out to my sales agent Daniel Poirier, but it's been 2 weeks now, and no action has been done yet or have not heard back from their installation manager as of this writing.Be the judge. I guess that would fall to simply being a poor quality work and poor after sales customer service.UPDATE:I would like to thank the team from HAMCO (Daniel - Sales, Shane - Service and especially Nolan - Technician ) for looking into my concern. It might have taken about 3 weeks, but at least they worked on a solution regarding the furnace wiring (and document holder) and they did not disappoint. You can see from the photos the updated wiring of my furnace. One satisfied customer! Thanks again!

Called after discovering a leak in the pipe to a radiator. Nolan was amazing...did not flinch when he saw my low basement and the awful crawlspace he might have to access for the job. Gave me options, advice, answered ALL my questions and fixed my leak. Having had a poor experience with a couple of other popular companies in the area, I will definitely be calling Hamco again for maintenance and any new issues (and I will be requesting Nolan if he's available!!).

We had a heat pump installed in our Heritage status home. Preservation of the exterior appearance was critical, as was the efficiency that a heat pump could bring us for both winter and summer. We called Hamco when our furnace stopped working and they replaced the igniter. We had a couple of intermittent issues with it not starting up properly after that and they came out under warranty, even though it turned out to be nothing to do with their installation. Their technicians and HO staff all seem knowledgeable, helpful and responsive.They're now our go-to company for all future HVAC work. Recommended.

We had a somewhat tough to diagnose issue with our boiler. Took 2 visits but Nolan was pretty tenacious in figuring it out and helping us with a temporary fix while replacement part came in. Part was in stalled quickly and at exact cost.Would recommend

I had to have my AC condenser unit moved about 10 feet to a different spot in my backyard on fairly short notice. It was in the way of a deck being constructed and work had to be halted until it was moved.I got quotes from four reputable, well reviewed HVAC companies in Hamilton and HAMCO was the cheapest. They were also able to slot me in for the work in just a few days, which was an important factor, so I went with them. They sent Nolan out a few days later and he completed the job very quickly and with a high degree of professionalism.There were a few issues on site, notably he had to work on uneven, muddy ground thanks to the ongoing construction, and within the framing for the deck itself. I'm satisfied with every aspect of the job so far and glad I went with HAMCO and Noaln.

We had Allen in to perform an inspection on our furnace. The first thing that I liked was that he was there right when he said he would be. I hate sitting waiting for people to show up. Allen did a very thorough job checking out the furnace. What I liked most was that he explained to me the state of furnace, what parts were wearing without trying to upsell me.
